Live GPS Cargo Tracking

Open your invoice link and see where the truck is: nothing to install, no password, and a position that updates on its own.

Many carriers say their trucks have GPS, but only their office sees the position and you have to call and ask. At Transporte Mundial you see the tracking yourself: while your cargo is on the road, the trip's invoice shows a map with the truck's latest position, the driver's name and the time of the last report.

There is no app to download and no account to create. The invoice link you receive when you book the freight is the same one you use to watch the trip and, once it is over, to review or pay the invoice online.

What is included

Live map from your invoice

The same link you use to review and pay the invoice shows the truck's position while the trip is active.

No app, no sign-up

It works in any browser, on a phone or a computer. Nobody at your company has to install anything or remember a password.

A position that updates on its own

The driver's phone sends its location every few seconds and the map refreshes without you reloading the page.

Driver and time of the last report

You see who is carrying your cargo and how long ago the last position was recorded, so you know whether the truck is moving or stopped.

Ideal for

  • Dispatchers who coordinate unloading and need to know when the truck arrives
  • Companies shipping goods to their customers who want to share the trip's progress with them
  • Urgent or high-value loads where it pays to know where the truck is at all times

How tracking your cargo works

At departure our office pairs the driver's phone with the invoices on board using a one-time code. From then on the phone records its GPS position and sends it to our system every few seconds, even if it loses signal for a while: it stores the positions and sends them once coverage returns.

You just open your invoice link. While the trip is active you will see the map with the latest position, the driver's name and how long ago it was reported. When the driver ends the trip at destination, the map goes away and the invoice stays available to review or pay.

What you see on the map, and what you don't

You see the truck's most recent position on a road map, the time of that report and the driver's name. The position updates on its own while the truck is on the road; if the last report is several minutes old, the truck is usually in an area without data coverage and will catch up once it gets it back.

We do not show the full route or data from other customers travelling in the same truck: each invoice only sees its own trip. Our office does keep the route trace for 90 days, in case you need to clarify an arrival time or a delivery.

GPS tracking for the customer, not just the office

Most freight carriers in Venezuela fit GPS to their trucks to manage the fleet, and that is fine, but that GPS is watched by the carrier's dispatcher, not by you. If you want to know where your cargo is, you call, wait for someone to check the platform and get back to you.

Our tracking is built the other way round: the information is yours from the first kilometre. You can forward the link to your customer, your warehouse or whoever receives, and they all see what we see, without going through the office.

Privacy and link security

The map is only shown to whoever has your invoice link or number, which we send you. We do not publish positions on any open page or share your trip data with third parties. Only the driver's name is shown.

Positions are stored securely and deleted automatically after 90 days. If you need a report on a trip before then, ask your coordinator.

Frequently Asked Questions

What our customers usually ask before hiring transportation or logistics in Venezuela.

Do I need to install an app or create an account to track my cargo?

No. Tracking shows on your invoice link in any browser, on a phone or a computer, with nothing to download and no sign-up.

How often does the truck's position update?

The driver's phone sends its location every few seconds, in batches of about 20 seconds, and the map refreshes on its own. Next to the map you will see how long ago the last position was recorded.

What happens if the truck goes through an area with no signal?

The phone keeps recording positions and sends them as soon as coverage returns. Meanwhile the map shows the last known position and the time it was recorded.

Can I share the link with my customer or with whoever receives the cargo?

Yes. Anyone with the invoice link sees the same map. It is handy for the destination warehouse to know when the truck arrives without having to call you.

Does GPS tracking cost extra?

It is an optional service added to the freight as a percentage, stated in the quote and itemised as a separate line on the invoice. Ask for it when you request a quote and it is active for that trip.

Do I see the full route or only the current position?

On your invoice you see the current position and the time of the last report. Our office keeps the full trace for 90 days and can send it to you if you need it.
