Container Transport in Venezuela

Pick-up at the port, haul to your plant or warehouse and return of the empty container, coordinated by one team.

We provide container transport in Venezuela: we haul 20 and 40 ft containers from Puerto Cabello and La Guaira to Valencia, Caracas, Maracay and any destination in the country, and carry export cargo from your plant to the port.

We arrange the pick-up time with your customs broker and the bonded warehouse, move the container on a tractor with a container chassis, and return the empty to the shipping line yard within the free days.

What is included

Pick-up at port warehouses

Puerto Cabello and La Guaira: we arrange the appointment, the exit pass and the loading of the container onto the unit.

Full container or loose cargo

We move the sealed container to your plant, or unstuff it at the port and deliver the goods in a box truck.

Empty return

We take the empty container to the yard designated by the shipping line to avoid demurrage charges.

Export

Pick-up of the empty container, loading at your plant and delivery to the port with the paperwork ready.

Ideal for

  • Importers receiving raw materials, spare parts or finished goods in containers
  • Plants in Carabobo, Aragua and Caracas moving containers within 200 km of the port
  • Exporters shipping through Puerto Cabello and La Guaira

Container pick-up at Puerto Cabello and La Guaira

Puerto Cabello is about 50 km from Valencia and is the busiest container port in the country; La Guaira serves Caracas and Miranda. Once your customs broker releases the cargo, we collect the container at the bonded warehouse and deliver it to your plant the same day or the next.

If your warehouse cannot take a tractor with a container, we unstuff at the port or at our premises and deliver the goods in a box truck or a 750 truck.

Full container or loose cargo from the port

With a full container (FCL) the box travels sealed from the port to your plant and is returned empty to the shipping line yard. With loose cargo (LCL), or when several clients share a container, we collect the goods already unstuffed and carry them in the appropriate vehicle.

In both cases GPS tracking and delivery confirmation work the same, and you can combine the haul with storage and distribution if you receive more than you can dispatch right away.

Documents and timing to collect your container

To schedule the pick-up we need the container number, the exit pass or warehouse release, the invoice and dispatch guide for the goods, and your customs broker's contact. With that we book the port appointment and the arrival time at your plant.

Shipping lines allow free days before charging demurrage on the container; we plan the pick-up and the empty return within that window and warn you if any formality puts it at risk.
